Ingredients
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Pancake, Crepe, Waffle Mix
- 1 2/3rd (414ml) cups of water
Topping
- Sugar
- Cinnamon powder
Preparation
- Add water to the Pancake, Crepe & Waffle Mix
- Heat the oil in a deep-frying pan
- Add the dough into a pastry bag and use a wide nozzle.
- Cut the dough in long portions until golden and crispy.
- In batches, being cautious not to overcrowd the pan, carefully lower into the oil using a slotted spoon and cook for 1-2 minutes, using the spoon to gently turn Balah Essham so that they are evenly colored.
- Tip onto a baking tray lined with kitchen paper to drain until Balah Essham have finished cooking.
- Add sugar and cinnamon on top for added flavor and texture.
