Ingredients

  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 box Betty Crocker™ Pancake, Crepe, Waffle Mix
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 2/3rd (414ml) cups of water
Topping
  • Small check mark in a circle icon Honey
  • Small check mark in a circle icon Walnuts
  • Small check mark in a circle icon Crushed pistachios
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 box Betty Crocker™ Whipping Cream

Preparation

  1. Prepare the pancake batter according to the instructions on the Pancake mix box.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and pour small rounds of batter.
  3. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Heat the oil in another deep-frying pan
  5. Close half the mini pancake and put them in the frying pan for 1-2 minutes until the corners are golden
  6. Whisk together the whipping cream and milk until desired form
  7. Fill the pancakes with a mixture of rich cream and chopped walnuts.
  8. Plate the Qatayef and drizzle with honey, then sprinkle with crushed pistachios for an added crunch.
  9. Serve warm as a sweet, traditional treat perfect for your Ramadan iftar table.
