Ingredients
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Pancake, Crepe, Waffle Mix
- 1 2/3rd (414ml) cups of water
Topping
- Honey
- Walnuts
- Crushed pistachios
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Whipping Cream
Preparation
- Prepare the pancake batter according to the instructions on the Pancake mix box.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and pour small rounds of batter.
- Cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Heat the oil in another deep-frying pan
- Close half the mini pancake and put them in the frying pan for 1-2 minutes until the corners are golden
- Whisk together the whipping cream and milk until desired form
- Fill the pancakes with a mixture of rich cream and chopped walnuts.
- Plate the Qatayef and drizzle with honey, then sprinkle with crushed pistachios for an added crunch.
- Serve warm as a sweet, traditional treat perfect for your Ramadan iftar table.
