
Orange saffron cake

Citrus and saffron, what a combination!
Ingredients
- SuperMoist Yellow
- 3 Eggs
- ½ Cup oil
- ¾ Cup water
- ¾ Cup orange juice
- 1 ½ tsp saffron, powder
- 1 Pack whipping cream powder
- 1 tsp orange blossom
- Orange peel
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 °C. In mixing bowl add cake mix, eggs, oil, water, orange juice and 1tsp saffron. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
- Grease a 22 cm round baking pan, pour in the cake mix, and put in oven to bake for 25-30 min, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Leave to cool.
- In a medium bowl, add whipping cream powder and prepare according to instructions, whisking it only until it forms a sauce (do not let it thicken).
- Add remaining saffron and orange blossom. You can add more water if you need to make it softer. Use the cream as topping for the cake and garnish with orange peel.
