Red Velvet Cake
Sprinkle a little color into your kitchen with this fun-filled easy cake creation!

You will need:

  • 1 Betty Crocker Red Velvet cake mix
    3 eggs
    5tbsp (75ml) vegetable oil
    3/4 cup (175ml) water
    160ml of milk for the cream

    Baking time: Two 22cm round trays
  • ndash; 18 to 22 minute.

How to Make


1.Pre- heat oven to 180°C for 30 minutes. Grease the baking pan with butter and lightly flour.

2.Beat cake mix, eggs, oil and water to a bowl and whisk on low speed till moistened and then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into pan.

3.Bake until cake springs back or a toothpick inserted in the centre of the pan comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack and frost when completely cooled.

Whipping Cream Preparation Whipping

Pour the content of the sachet in a bowl. Add the cold milk and blend for 5 minutes at high speed or until topping thickness and forms light fluffy peaks.

• More milk may be added during whipping, if topping seems too thick. Store covered in refrigerator after preparation. keep fresh for up to 3 days.

• For richer taste you may replace half cup of milk with double cream (at least %35 fat). Tip: Spread frosting as topping or as both topping and filling.
