Shake up your Iftar with a dessert drink!


Ingredients

  • Small check mark in a circle icon SuperMoist French Vanilla
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 3 Egg
  • Small check mark in a circle icon ½ Cup oil
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 ¼ Cup water
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1l Vanilla ice cream
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 2l Milk
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 Cup date paste
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 10 Dates, diced

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C. In mixing bowl add cake mix, eggs, oil, and water, and whisk until well combined and smooth.
  2. Grease a round 22 cm baking pan and pour the cake mix into the pan. Place in oven and bake for 25-30 min, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Leave to cool, then cut into small pieces (4 cm cubes).
  3. In a blender, add 3-4 cake pieces, 2 scoops of ice cream, 2 cups milk, 2 tbsp date paste and 1tbsp diced dates and blend on high speed until smooth. Repeat to create the quantity required.

Betty's Tips

  • You can use any leftover Betty Crocker cakes, and create different milkshake flavours using chocolate syrup or strawberry milk.
