Shake up your Iftar with a dessert drink!

SuperMoist French Vanilla
3 Egg
½ Cup oil

1 ¼ Cup water

1l Vanilla ice cream

2l Milk

1 Cup date paste

10 Dates, diced
  • 1 Preheat oven to 180 °C. In mixing bowl add cake mix, eggs, oil, and water, and whisk until well combined and smooth.
  • 2 Grease a round 22 cm baking pan and pour the cake mix into the pan. Place in oven and bake for 25-30 min, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Leave to cool, then cut into small pieces (4 cm cubes).
  • 3 In a blender, add 3-4 cake pieces, 2 scoops of ice cream, 2 cups milk, 2 tbsp date paste and 1tbsp diced dates and blend on high speed until smooth. Repeat to create the quantity required.
  • 4 Note: You can use any leftover Betty Crocker cakes, and create different milkshake flavours using chocolate syrup or strawberry milk.
