Ingredients
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup soft light brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups icing sugar, sifted
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a 9x13” baking dish with baking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, sour cream, water, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the light brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half of the cake mix into the prepared dish. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the batter. Pour the remaining cake mix over the top. Use a skewer or knife to swirl the two mixtures together.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Meanwhile, prepare the icing. Whisk together the sifted icing sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- As soon as the cake is removed from the oven, pour the icing evenly over the top.
- Slice into 12 squares and serve warm.
