Buttermilk Pancakes
Beat ‘em, flip ‘em, stack ‘em and you are done!

All you need is:


  • For 8 to 10 pancakes
    1 cup Betty Crocker pancake mix
    2/3 cup (160ml) milk
    1 egg 1 tbsp oil

    For 16 to 18 pancakes
    2 cups Betty Crocker pancake mix
    1 1/2 cup milk
    1 egg 2 tbsp oil

    For 26 to 28 pancakes 3 cups Betty Crocker pancake mix
    2 1/4 cup (515.5ml) milk
    2 eggs 3 tbsp oil

    For 50 to 52 pancakes 6 1/2 cups Betty Crocker pancake mix
    5 cups (1150ml) milk
    2 or 3 eggs
    cup and 2 tbsp oil

How to Make

Pancake Mix Buttermilk instructions

1. Heat the pan on medium heat until drop of water sizzle and evaporate quickly. Grease the pan if necessary.

2. Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir with a fork until well combined. For thinner pancakes, add more milk and for thicker pancakes, add more pancake mix. For each pancake, pour 1/4cup batter onto the hot pan.

3. Cook till bubbles break on the surface and edges begin to dry. Turn the pancake and cook the other side for 1 minute or till golden brown. You can also prepare waffles with the Betty Crocker pancake mix.

Waffles

You will need For 3, 9-inch waffles
2 cups Betty Crocker pancake mix
1 1/2 cup (360ml) milk
1 egg ¼ cup oil
1. Heat waffle iron. Grease the waffle iron if necessary.
2. Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk till smooth and well combined. Pour batter from a cup onto centre of the hot waffle iron.
3. Bake till steaming stops and then remove cooked waffle carefully.

Crepes For 18 crepes:

You can also prepare Crepes with the Betty Crocker pancake mix.

1 cup Betty Crocker pancake mix
1 1/2 cup (360ml) milk
3 egg 3 tbsp shortening
1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk till smooth and well combined.
2. For each crepe, lightly butter the pan, heat over medium heat till the butter is bubbly.
3. Pour 1/4cup of the batter onto the hot pan and rotate the pan until the batter covers the pan’s base.
4. Cook until light brown, turn and cook the other side till light brown.
5. If desired, you can spead the warm crepe with sweetened strawberries, jam, jelly, scrambled eggs or apple sauce.
